Our Story
Ali Ai was born from a simple observation: while AI was transforming the world, Africa was being left behind. Not because of lack of talent or ambition, but because AI systems weren't built with African languages, contexts, and challenges in mind.
Founded in 2024, we set out to change that narrative. Our team of African AI researchers, engineers, and linguists came together with one goal: build AI that truly understands and serves Africa.
